What should I wear?
Wear whatever you want! The ceremony will be outdoors, and it might be chilly, so you may want to bring a jacket for that. The reception will be indoors. Our venue is on top of a hill, so if you wear heels, you may want to park close.
What's the weather like there in January?
It's nice! But, the outdoor ceremony might be a little chilly! We recommend a jacket. The average high for January 13 is 68° and the average low is 48°.
Where is the closest airport?
Burbank (BUR) is the closest and most convenient airport. LAX is a little farther away, and a little more hectic, but usually less expensive.
What hotel should we stay in?
There are a lot of options! Altadena is very close to Pasadena, an area with many hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts. Here are some examples of nearby two-, three- and four-star hotels that we found using Kayak. Many guests are staying at the Vagabond Inn.
